Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 3reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Durable Tool I use this Bosch angle grinder alot in the grinding of stainless steel vessels. It has plenty of power and is very durable. We are quite hard on power tools in the trade and our Bosch grinders do a great job. The only thing I would like to see these tools have is an option of variable speed control. July 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great to use I have several grinders and this and my 7" Bosch are really a delight to use. April 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Strong and willing... Got this a few years back to grind off a hack-job roll cage on a Jeep I bought. Worked great for the task and is easily held and manipulated for fine detail work. 5" is a great 'all-around' size if you're wondering. Ended up using it for exhaust work, suspension mods, and rusty old bolts. I would NOT recommend it in place of a sawzall for exhaust work - don't be lazy (like me), just get the right tool from the garage the FIRST time and save the headaches! The only problem I've had with this is an inability to fully tighten some of the grinding discs on the arbor. tug and wrench all I might, they will eventually loosen up enough to get "hung" on a piece of tubing and let the arbor spin. Perhaps this is my fault for bad grinding pressure or angle, but be aware that it's not as easy as it seems to keep those little discs solidly attached on the arbor (first time it happened I thought the motor or gears had failed, because who looks at the spinning disc/arbor when you're showering molten steel everywhere?)
