Thank you for taking the time to ask this question. To remove your toilet seat for easy cleaning you want to flip your hinge caps open and with the seat closed, grip the seat at the 3 and 9 o’clock positions. Give a good hard jostle to the seat while pulling up the right, then left side of the seat. This will expose the hardware – nut and bolt. I hope this information has helped!
