stand by generator

This unit will be used to maintain battery charge on a stand by generator. If generator turns on in the event of a power outage with Maintainer still connected will the Maintainer be damaged

Answer: 
The Maintainer is not designed for in-line operation. It must be disconnected and removed from the circuit during equipment/generator/battery use.
