Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following.

This snap disc switch is designed to be a normally closed, open on rise switch. This is a limit made to run a system until the temperature reaches a high level, then it will turn off the system. You will need a fan switch if you need the switch to engage a fan as the temperature increases. You may want to consider part numbers 6UEE1 and 6UEE2.
