I have LP gas upflow furnace in a ranch home with flexible ducts running through attic. Considering replacing them or new furnace with downflow and sheet metal ductwork under home.

Answers

Answer: 
Grainger has contacted the manufacturer and the life expectancy varies from application to application. Typically they will not mold inside the duct unless the insulation has been torn or peeled back and there is sweating occuring inside the duct. They are suited to work with all styles of forced air furnaces such as LP, Natural Gas, and Home Heating Oil.
