Rated 2.1 out of 5 by 24reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Much easier to use than a manual one. Tried using a manual stapler to replace a dust cover on bottom of sofa. Didn't have the strength to get the staples into the wood. This electric one did it with ease. August 17, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by This product jams easily I have used this product to replace seat covers. The unit jams easily and after several jams I cannot get the unit to work any more. Now a very good product. August 14, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by More trouble than it is worth. I bought this unit (yellow version) to replace the seat cover on dirt bikes. It is more than strong enough but is always jammed up. Have not replaced one cover without taking unit apart. Not worth the trouble. August 10, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by this product jams easily i bought the gun hoping to make my project easy went through one round of staples then went to try to open chamber it wouldn't open the metal prongs got bent August 7, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disapointing I have the yellow version of this ETFX50 gun. I only use the Arrow staples. This gun is just not worth the trouble. I have taken it apart 3 times to remove jams and that was just during my first use. I have done everything I can think of to get it to work but every time it gets jammed. Taking it apart to clear the staple chamber is much more difficult than other brands I have used. There is only one screw but it is not easy to unscrew it. Putting it back together is no easy task either. The chamber you need to remove to clear jams must fit perfectly. If the front tabs do not get fully inserted, you cannot reinsert the screw and there is a very small gap where the staples come out of. So I have cleaned the chamber, reasembled the unit, put a FULL string of staples in the chamber (no partial pieces) and it still won't shoot. I consider myself to be a highly knowledgeable DIY 'er but this gun just isn't worth anymore time but it is a waste of $$. June 18, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by ETFX50 staple gun constantly jams I bought a new Arrow ETFX50 electric staple gun 2-3 years ago following a good experience with an Arrow manual gun. However, with this unit I can plan on never being able to complete a job without jams or loading problems. Initially, I thought it was my error. But after reading that others have the same problems, It became clear that the problems are designed in. My next purchase will be a brand and model that contractors depend on. June 6, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Jams all the time I took the first one back because it jamed up all the time. The second one did the same thing. I will be taking it back to get my money back. Not at all satisfied with this unit. June 3, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Jams much too often! This is the first product review I have ever done. This gun has me sofrustrated that I had to do this review. I bought this stapler because I have always had an Arrow manual stapler and liked it very much. After hand surgery, I was unable to use my manual stapler so bought this one. Bad purchase, IF it works I can get maybe 20 staples in a row to come out. After that it jams every 3 - 4 staples. I then remove all the staples, un-jam the gun throw all the staples in the gun away and reload only to repeat the process again. I'm ready to take a sledge hammer to this staple gun. DO NOT BUY THIS GUN. April 19, 2014
