Rated 5 out of 5 by Best mower i have owned so far. I purchased the max zoom 60 with the Kawasaki 26hp motor 2 years ago for mowing my 6 acre homestead. This thing is truly a beast. It has put up with seriously unshirted Haides and asked for more. I am very careful about maintenance, but have never had a problem. Cuts thick tall johnson grass like a speed freak with a machete. I have several Ariens implements and have yet to be let down. September 4, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 Not worth the money I bought the mower last november and I have had a charging problem that now is back to another warranty worker to repair. All I can say is do not buy a mower from a big chain and expect anyone to repair it in any amount of time. You will wait for weeks. Buy your mower from a Ariens dealer and he will repair it quickly. What a night mare. I will never buy an Ariens again as the parts take weeks to get for warranty problems July 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome mower I bought this mower several month ago and used it in my 5 lot yard. I recently bought 13 acres out in the country and I mowed it for the first time yesterday. The mower was great. It performed really well. The only thing I could see is that it does have a bit of a traction problem. I think this is due to weight at the rear tires. It’s just a little light. May have something to do with the tires also but I don’t think having a more aggressive tire would not help without the weight being there also. One other small thing is it could use a bigger engine more HP. I noticed mine bogging down a little but it was no big deal. The grass and weeds were really high so I’m sure any mower would have bogged a little. I was mowing about 10 acre lot and it was awesome the mower was fun to drive. I had a beer in one hand and drove with the other it was that easy. Great mower. O and it could use an option for front springs of some kind. June 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This is the toughest mower I've ever owned, it is a tank! I purchased this mower because my son purchased one and I watched him use it for two years and was so impressed I just had to have one. I didn't think I could afford one, but finally decided I had purchased my last highly touted foreign mower. The last two mowers lasted me 15 and 13 years respectively, but were not built nearly as well as the Ariens.I mow slightly less than an acre of grass with lots of flowerbeds and trees and I can mow it in approximately 1/2 the time the other mower could and I am comfortable while I am mowing. The seat is high, giving a good view of the surrounding area and is very comfortable to drive.I take good care of mowers and expect this to be the last mower I ever own. Congratulations Ariens, you have built a great mower. June 21, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Just a good mower Very pleased with my Ariens Max Zoom 60. Power and performance are very impressive. No frills mower that does what I need a mower to do. June 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best out there! This mower is as heavily built as a contractor grade mower. It mows through the thickest grass and cuts smoothly. June 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good mower for the money. We use it once a week. When I use it I use 5 gals of gas for 3.5 acres, my wife uses 5 gals for 1.75 acres. I really like the mower it does a good job. It looks like changing the oil is going to be a measy job from the way the oil filter sets in there. I would like ti see grease fittings in a fee places (front wheels, etc) June 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by easy to operate, yard looks good when finished. I have had no problems since I bought the Ariens zero turn mower. The 60inch mower works better for our yard. We are able to finish in about 3.5 hours compared to 5 hours. June 17, 2013
