Details

The 3-blade, 14" steel impeller and auger carve out a 24" to 30"-wide path, throwing snow up to 50 ft. A dual-belt auger drive continuously sustains engine power directly to the blower head, with no maintenance adjustments required. This model features a heavy-duty cast-iron gear case with alloy steel gears and L-3 severe-duty gear oil. The high-performance final drive ratio ensures higher torque at wheels and provides superior traction through deep snow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by My Arien snowblower is very dependable I bought my Ariens ST28 deluxe plus in December 2014. It worked great for a week before the housing over the pulley showed a hole wearing though the side. The dealer where I bought it was excellent and quickly found the problem .The pulley was loose , which caused the belts to shift and wear the housing cover. It was repaired quickly (picked up and returned to my residence by the dealer). Since then it has worked excellent.I live in southern New Brunswick and the winter of 2014-2015 set a new record snowfall for the winter that have stood since 1962.Without having my Ariens I would have been snowed in for much of the winter.Very good product ! Rated 5 out of 5 by Very user friendly, instructions easy to understand I recommend this product. Easy to use, highly durable. Moves large quantities of snow regardless of consistency. March 31, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Leaking oil drain plugs For snow blowing, the 921037 does what I’d expect. It has done a good job handling several foot-plus snowfalls, which is what I expected from a machine of this size/class.My big issue with the 921037 are leaking oil drain plugs (part number 20001303). My machine was delivered with a leaking oil drain plug, the one at the end of the extension tube. Subsequently the “dead” plug on the other side of the machine — a part you’d never have to interact with — started leaking. I find it ridiculous that a machine of this price has these defective parts — defective in design, defective in manufacture, defective in installation, whatever the case. I wish I had not made this purchase. My experience fixing the first oil drain plug was a mess. Ariens technical support advised torque specifications to apply to ensure the plug was tight. My application of a torque wrench resulted in the oil drain washer snapping, and the extension tube threads shearing off inside the engine block. I had to have a local dealer remove the threads and replace the extension tube. I asked the dealer if he’d ever use a torque wrench on the plug or tube and he said no, in his experience these parts should be tightened by hand.Even with a new plug installed, this time threaded with pipe tape, I’ve had another leak occur. To also have the “dead” plug on the other side start leaking, when a user wouldn’t even need to touch this piece, only adds insult to injury. As I write this I still haven’t resolved the other leak, and my attached photos show what the leak looks like. March 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great machine much better then plowing the snow. First snow blower and it works great blows the snow just as far as it says it would. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone as it is a great machine! March 29, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great machine !! Having over 3000 sq feet of driveway I wasn't sure which model (or manufacturer) to get. After looking for a few months, I decided to give this a go. What a great decision! Started every time, easy to manipulate, and just the right size. Other manufacturers well, either the wheels were to small, HP was to low etc. This was perfect and perfect price. March 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by This is an awesome machine! Really like my new Ariens that I purchased back in October. Haven't had a lot of snow to get much use out of it. i'm hoping it lasts me for years to come. The only complaint I have is the features that aren't available on this model for the price you pay for it is there is no snow cab or heated hand grips included with it for the steep price of the machine. Other than that it's awesome would recommend it to everyone! March 12, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great for Wet Slushy Snow I live on the east coast of Newfoundland where we get snow then rain. Makes for a heavy mess. I spent most of my time cleaning out the chute of my old Yardworks. Now with my new Ariens it throws the wet snow no problem. March 9, 2015
