Rated 5 out of 5 by Works Awesome Massachusetts had a record breaking amount of snow this year 90inches or more. This snowblower was a life saver. It throws snow 40 feet or more. It starts consistently with one pull. It is easy to turn and change the snow throwing direction. This snowblower worked flawlessly this winter and this winter was a true test for any snowblower. I highly recommend this product. March 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great machine Have had a lot snow this season ! And this machine has had no problem handling any of it so far. Think it's a great machine would recommend it to anyone needing a new snow blower. March 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by I think Ariens makes the very best snow blowers This is my second Ariens snow blower, the first one I had when I was in my 20s before I had a plow truck (25 years ago) and I used it commercially. It lasted a long time. This one has more features like the heated handles and holder for shear pins. It starts like a dream and incredibly powerful. It isn't perfect though. I find the built in light is not in the best position to see in the dark, the transmission slips if it gets wet ( a problem I almost never had with my first one), the transmission is not very powerful in 1st speed, and water gets in the deflector control cable and freezes locking the deflector in place. I use this one commercially also so it runs for almost two hours every time it snows so the large gas tank is a great feature. It has eaten two door mats this year with no damage and only sheared two shear pins. I lkie how quickly the deflector chute turns too. Also, it never gets plugged up with slush, it is powerful enough to blow very wet snow. Thanks Ariens. March 4, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by I am not happy with the store who sold me the machine. The machine started falling apart literally from the day I first started using it. The machine was haphazardly assembled and because I live 70 miles one way from where I purchased it made it very impractical to bring back every time something went wrong which was a lot. So I have been fixing myself. I will never buy anything from those people again EVER!! Needless to say the machine still has issues and I wish I could just get my money back. March 4, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just a great performing piece of machinery. I am very satisfied with my Snow Blower. With living in the mountains we have a lot of snow and drifting and my Ariens has never failed to clean out my driveway which is over 415 ft long and open to drifting. I like the ease of which it is to handle and especially am impressed with the hand warming features. I would recommend this product to anyone. March 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Met all my challenges! I looked at all different manufactures of snow blowers. I am one who does allot of home work before buying. My research always lead me back to the Ariens Professional. I am glad I purchased it. It does what it states it will do. We have had one of the worst winters which I can remember and I am glad that I picjked this Ariens. Even with 3' dirtfs the machine went thru them all. I have a large driveway to contend with and I now do my drive way in half the time. I love the balance of the machine and the ability to turn effortlessy with the new style transmission on this baby. Also the control of the chute is nice to control the direction of the snow.I like the Briggs motor which really steps up to the task and does not bog down. The new 1,2,3 start system which is identified on the engine is nice. It has started 1st pull every time this winter which I was shocked at even with the days which were below zero. Overall I am very satisfied with the product and would recomd to others. One last thing. It threw the snow so far in one storm I was reaching my neighbors yard. He had to stop until I was done and then he did his drive way. I still cannot believe how far it throws the snow. March 3, 2015
