Pleated air filters help facilitate higher airflow efficiency and have more surface area to trap pollutants. They capture smaller particles than standard flat filters, and now the new pleated air filter has a variety of improved features. This includes a wired back media to last longer, with more strength and endurance. Passing appendix J means the pleats are now guaranteed to maintain their maximum efficiency through the duration of their change-out lifespan. A new die cut allows the filter to have more support and frame strength ensuring its durability, even through the dustiest months. The average pressure drop is significantly lower now, to save energy and overall costs.
