Answer: 
There is no way to calculate exactly how much square footage this heater will cover without doing a heat load/loss calculation on the space being heated. This heater at 5KW
(5000 watts) makes 17,065 BTU's. As a general load calculation you might be able to heat up to 400-450 square feet with 8' ceilings. This is only an estimate.

Hello: its 25 degrees in my garage, I turn on the heater it stays on for about 10 minutes then shuts off then 5 minutes later it turns on again for another 10 minutes then shuts off. This is the first time I'm having this problem. The highest it got was 33 degrees before I turned it off myself just in case something was wrong with it. Is this normal because its cold or is something wrong with it.

Answer: 
There could be several issues causing your cold garage. We would need information on the space you are heating and some readings from the heater. I recommend calling our HVAC tech when you are near the unit and have details on the area being heated. 800-472-4643
