• Offers reliable, convenient respiratory protection when combined with 3M(TM) Particulate Filters or Cartridges (such as organic vapor/acid gas cartridges) or dual airline system
• Available in 3 sizes (small, medium, large) to comfortably fit many faces
• For use with 3M(TM) Cartridges 6000 Series; 3M(TM) Filters 2000, 2200, 7000 or 5000 Series; or 3M(TM) Dual Airline Systems against a variety of gases, vapors and particulate hazards according to NIOSH approvals
• Head harness assembly and spare parts available
• Comes with reclosable storage bag

When properly fitted and used with approved 3M(TM) Cartridges and Filters, helps provide respiratory protection from a variety of gases, vapors and particulate hazards at concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL). Of all personal protective equipment sizing challenges, accurate sizing for respirators is the most critical. Confusion sometimes occurs because respirator sizes are given descriptors (small, medium and large), but these do not relate to any measurable value.
Respirators are made with the assumption that most peoples faces and heads have about the same width and length. This means that a medium size will fit approximately 70 percent of the adult population. Small (7 percent) and large (23 percent) sizes are made for a minority of the population.
People who need these sizes generally know from their experience buying hats or prescription eyewear that their face and head size falls outside the norm. The only way to accurately select the correct respirator size is by doing respirator fit testing.
