A solar panel on front of the filter cassette helps power the unit, extending battery life to approximately 3000 hours. Choose from 61 control combinations to achieve the most efficiency and comfort. Greater sensitivity: the 9002’s detectors have increased sensitivity to provide reliable switching for a wide range of welding methods, even extremely stable arcs like those from TIG inverters at low amp settings. Greater comfort: the 9002 has a new delay function that lets you select how quickly the filter changes from dark-to-light. Adjust with gloves on: the 9002's membrane-covered control buttons let you change settings or turn on/off with your gloves on.
