UPS and Surge Suppression

Grainger has the right devices to help you protect your sensitive computers and electrical equipment from equipment failure and costly downtime. An uninterruptible power supply (UPS) provides reliable and secure, cost-effective backup power and power protection for critical equipment. A basic ups power supply can provide enough backup power to work through short- and medium-length power outages. More sophisticated UPS systems have software for complete network power management and control. Surge suppressors help prevent system crashes, corrupted data files, disk drive errors, computer lockup, and hardware failure. Power conditioners protect from surges, spikes, lightning, and other power disturbances, while voltage stabilizers help maintain stable output voltage during peak loads on voltage-sensitive equipment

Unfortunately, when a motor is manufactured it is rated for a specific horsepower and the horsepower can not be changed. If you require a lower horsepower motor, you will need to replace your motor.

Grainger does stock a line of DC to DC converters. Item number 3TA33 would work with your voltages, but unfortunately falls short of your load with a 2.5 amp rating.
