Temperature Controls

There are many industries where temperature control is vital. In a laboratory, precisely monitoring and controlling temperature is essential to making the perfect environment for research and the development of new products. In an industrial plant, temperatures must be maintained for raw materials to remain stable and equipment to function properly. Even transportation equipment must have temperature control to ensure that the components do not overheat. Whatever a business's temperature control needs for its electrical equipment, Grainger has the products necessary to keep equipment and environments at the perfect temperature.

Answer:
Without more clear information about the maximum temperature of your branding iron, or the voltage and amperage the process controller needs to control, we cannot adequately suggest a product. Please contact us at 800-323-0620 with more information about your application.

I have a Dayton steam cleaner with a diesel/kerosene burner that has a faulty temperature cutoff switch (120v.) I need to replace it but it doesn't seem to have any part numbers on it. Any suggestions?

I have this part, which apparently has a high-limit of 180f degrees, and a reset range of 50f degrees. (for coffee brewer)

What I am looking for is a nearly-similar part, which has a lower limit of 150f degrees, and maybe a 30f degree reset range. (I am trying to maintain a beverage temperature of 150f degrees-no brewing)

Does Therm-o-disc make such an item? What is the part number? Where could I purchase them?

Answer:
Grainger has contacted the product supplier and has been advised by them of the following.

If you are looking for a plug-in thermostat to control a fan, you can look at part number 1UHG6. This will meet your temperature range and it is rated for 120 volts AC.

Its a elec. smoker with a temp. Control with a copper lead about 3ft. Long with a sensor on the other end that goes inside to let the unit know when to start and stop the heating element while cooking. Would you happen to have some thing like that?

Thank You
