Key holes can be blocked with a tooth pick and quick set glues. I need a lock for a rural property gate that remains unattended for months. Weather resistance and hammering survivability is also required.

Answer: 
There is a product called Multi-Lock. Im not sure if grainger sells them but they are extremely tough locks with specialized keys that make picking impossible. They make padlocks and door locks

I would like something loud enough to hear over loud machinery and also a flashing light to alert me when I can not hear it, so the light has to be bright to catch my eye. any suggestions?

Grainger has contacted the product supplier and have been advised by them of the following: nothing in a doorbell system that will be loud enough to hear over machinery. There are bells that are hard wired and strobes you can hard wire but not a complete system.
