Speed Reducers

A speed reducer slows electrical currents in power transmission to protect against surges, and to make dangerous levels usable for normal applications. Choose the right speed reducer from a variety of shaft assemblies and torque capacities. Use a mounting base or a torque arm when the reducer is not directly attached to a drive mechanism. Gear reduer

Hello,

Thank you for providing the contact email for enquires.

I have a DC motor with a 182 N.m torque, 40 rpm and 0.75 Kw. I would like to add a gear reducer to reduce the 40 to 2 rpm. Do you have a Gearr reducer for that purpose ?

Is there any other important considerations to reduce the speed from 40 to 2 rpm ?

Thank you

Answer:
You will need a speed reducer with a 20:1 Ratio that can handle an approximate HP of 13 at the input shaft.
