Rivets

Rivets from Grainger provide fasteners that last in a variety of sizes, heads and diameters. A solid rivet often is used in aircraft, and features a flat, round, countersunk, brazier or universal head. A blind rivet often is installed in a joint from only one side of a part or structure. And rivets are set with a rivet tool or rivet tool kit for metal, wood, masonry and Formica. Grainger can help you find the exact rivets you need for your business and its projects.

Answer:
Grainger does offer different versions of a rivet nut insert tools. Part number 5TUW5 is a kit; this will include the proper adaptors to install 10-24, ¼-20, 5/16-18 and 3/8-16 inserts. However, for your consideration, Grainger offers a few more versions of this, the tool alone, (plier’s type as well as lever type), kits and combinations. Page 3046 in the catalog will show some of these options. Please call Grainger and provide the details of what you are looking for, and then specific part numbers can be applied to your application.

Answer:
We have a tool for tubular rivets. You can use a ball peen hammer or an arbor press for solid rivets. There are several factors we would like to discuss with you to determine the correct rivet for your application.
