I'm looking for a pump where I can pump water up 200 ft to fill water tanks. Not really worried about the flow rate, as long as it can pump the water up and fill the tanks. I'm looking to connect it to the building's waterline. Also would like to have float switches, or something similiar, to shut off the pump when the water reaches a certain height and turn on the pump when it gets too low. Thanks.

Answer:
Ideally, a transfer pump for a brine application should be made of naval bronze , stainless steel, or plastic with stainless steel components. You’d want to avoid cast-iron and plain carbon steel components. Pay special attention materials of construction on the rotating mechanical seal. We offer many good choices in these materials.

I have 1300 gallon storage tank for spring water. I want to add a pressure tank so I can tie this into my auto drip system for the property, currently tied to city pressure. Not sure the gallons per hour, but very low since it is only drip watering systems, no rain bird or high flow sprinklers. Will not be a submersible pump.
Thanks

We are sorry but to answer your question we would need more information. Does your auto drip system have a pump? Did your system work with city pressure? If you could please call 800-472-4643 and speak with one of our tech reps they will be able to assist you in getting the information you are asking for.
