I would like to be able to plug the cord from a small water pump into an electrical outlet on the outside of my garage. I picture a single plate covering the receptacle for the plug with the power switch right next to it. The combination "plate" and its circuit would have to have a waterproof cover. Ideally, the plug and switch would be surge protected.

I need to go from my UPS (pure sine wave running from a generator in my travel trailer), which has 8 power outlets, to 3 separate single gang receptacles (all within 10 feet) to power/protect my sensitive electronic equipment from the stepped sine wave of my generator.

Is there a single gang receptacle that can be connected directly from an extension cord to the UPS?
