Metal Fastening Pins

A fastening pin from Grainger, such as a dowel pin or clevis pin, provides strength when you secure your materials. A metal cotter pin can be bent during installation to act like a staple or spring pin. A hitch pin assembly ensures that your trailer is secure by dropping the pin in place and locking. A steel-grade, industrial safety pin locates, aligns and safely secures components. Rely on Grainger for industrial pins that secure your materials in place.

Answer:
If your question is how are spring pins removed? Normally, they never are inserted into blind holes. To remove them, a hardened punch is inserted from the other side and tapped out or use a hydraulic press, depending on the size of the pin. Always follow shop safety practices.

Answer:
You could use a roll pin punch set like the 2AJL9. This set covers from 1/16"-5/16", and is made to remove roll pins.
