Grainger has contacted the product supplier and have been advised by them of the following: SPP is the replacement for the SP (Specification Series) of GE lamps, which meets the Federal Energy Efficiency Legislation Standards effective July 14, 2014.

Unfortunately there is no difference in lamps for glare. That would be a function of the fixture not the lamps.

Answer: 
Try using "warmer" color bulbs, 3500k or less ( there are sometimes called Warm or warm white lamps. Remember the higher the color temp, the more white the light. I dont know if your lamps are in a ceiling fixture or not, you could try using various diffusers on them.

One light bulb of package does not light up. I have tried it in at least three lamps an it just does not work when the other one did. How do I get a replacement so I can save the money the claim on the package said. If I throw it out I loose all. Please help.
