Answer:
Power of a motor is determined by amps, but also gearing. A cordless power drill will propell your bike if geared correctly, but you probably won't be going fast enough to maintain balance. With gearing when the power is increased speed is decreased.
This is the same thing you get when you change gears on your bike.
A motor that is suitable would depend on how fast you'd like to go (more power=more speed# and the distence you need to go on a charge #more power = more batter power= less riding time on a charge.)
I would pilfer a motor from a power wheels or a power wheelchair, and try and use that.

Answer:
5KCP39PCN655S is not a good model number; it looks like it might be 5KCP39PGN655S. If that is the case then Grainger item number 3LU83 should be a good match to that motor.

Answers

Answer:
We do not carry this specific motor by Baldor. We can certainly go direct to the manufacturer for cost and availability on the unit. You could also visit our motor match section on Grainger.com and with a complete list of specs you can narrow down your search to a motor that we may carry that would fit your needs. Please give us a call at 800-323-0620 if you need further assistance.
