Many remote site buildings in Alaska use their own generators for power. Often this power is more variable than the power provided by municipal grids. And often the generators go down much more frequently than normal power grids.

Many of these buildings use or need battery powered emergency lighting. Do some types of emergency lighting batteries hold up better in this kind of situation than others? What product would be best?
