Use "Drossbach E-Z pull Split Loom" sold by Grainger. !/4" to 1/2' round. Push the cut side on the edge of the knockout all the way around. Cut the tubing a little bit longer than the knockout hole so that it pushes against itself where it will meet. This will help it hold itself in place. Works great.

Answer:
Rone,

Size AWG #14 will do the job, it's hold 15A and you want 10A , but the best is AWG #12, it's hold 20A.
Do NOT use smaller size that AWG #14. Note that AWG # 12 is bigger size that AWG #14, it's has more capacity on AMP.
Grainger sell extension cords ready to plug and use, just select the one you want.

Answer:
Need to know how long the cord is also. If it is really long(100 ft or more) and the outlet is far from the distribution panel you could have low voltage at the end of your cord. Low voltage could damage power tools and cause some electronics to not work at all. Using the larger size wire will cause less voltage drop. If it is short than the 14AWG wire will work fine.

As you may know, breakers are not universal from panel to panel and manufacturer to manufacturer. To enable us to narrow down to a specific breaker, at minimum we also need to understand who the manufacturer of your panel is and the voltage rating of your system. Please call us at 1-800-Grainger so we can discuss your panel and breaker in greater detail.
