    These effluent pumps are designed to move clarified septic outflow from its pumping chamber to its drain field. This type is common in sand-bed, raised-bed, and mound filtration systems where the absorption bed is located above the tank. Use in mound-type septic systems, elevated septic system drain fields, laundry discharge, sump, and grey water. The floating stack helps to prevent problems with lockup, abrasives and running dry. Pumps are powered by permanent split capacitor (PSC) motors. They also feature stainless steel shafts and hardware, long-life mechanical seals, and ball bearings.
