We are doing a project where they are showing metal piping on plywood shelving use as delineators to segregate and hold-up artwork. The height varies from 4’ to 8’

They are asking for galvanized piping threaded into mounting brackets.
Due to the amount of connections I am looking for a more efficient (piping) method

Answer:
Grainger offers a pipe rail tubing kit, found on page 2223 of the catalog. The aluminum version is corrosion resistant, lightweight and easy to use. There will be fittings, and 8 foot lengths of tube, that can be cut to size. This page can be viewed on line. However, you may want to consider calling in to the Grainger Tech Support line and receive live assistance in this. It seems that there can be many options, and may require some thought process with an agent to help drill this down. The phone number is 1-888-361-8649, and then request Tech Support.
