Below-the-Hook Lifting Accessories

Reaching reel line speeds up to 10 ft./min. and able to lift 5,000 lb. or more, an electric hoist winch and rigging equipment can easily tow heavy machinery and materials for transport. A chain hoist is a portable lifting option that allows you to safely lift heavy pallet loads onto trailers or in the stockroom. If you need additional steel cable, these items feature corrosion-resistant galvanized steel and can handle heavy-duty jobs. Made with high-density polyethylene and rust-proof grommets, a blue tarp can protect your storage from mildew, rust and harsh temperatures. Come to Grainger for dependable hoist and rigging equipment.

We build control panels. Some of them are large (6' x 6'+) and heavy (600+lbs). Installing them into an enclosure using just a hook or two is scary sometimes. I need something more secure that still lets me turn or tilt a panel while lifting it

I have such a device for pulling fence wire tight. It is an eye hook on a tapered shaft with a collar. when pressure is applied the two pieces lock together and act as one. You can set the assembly up wherever along the wire you need it to be.

Answer:
I also am looking for the same cable/wire puller rowboat55 is looking for. I had one given to me by my father-in-law, but have misplaced it someplace on my miles of fence. It is a very handy tool not only for fencing and cable, but I used for pulling grounding rods out of the ground and also young trees and woody brush in the fencelines. The same concept of this tool is available at most hardware stores out in the country/rural areas and is called a wire gripper. It is the same concept but not as handy to use and does not open up as much as the previous described tool.

I have a small max 300kg load electric hoist in my house in Italy. I will use it to vertically lift small loads of for example cut logs for my wood burning stove or groceries or case(s) of wine; The hoist arm swings out from the patio above and a hook is lowered and the items are loaded some 10 metres directly below. The net or container has to have an ability to accept the hook to allow the lifting to take place without spillage. If you can provide such an accessory it would be delivered to a UK address.
