Unmounted flap wheels feature an arbor hole or threaded arbor hole to attach the wheel to your tool. Shop Grainger for three types of unmounted flap wheel: Coated (cloth coated with abrasive), non-woven (nylon material impregnated with abrasive), and coated/non-woven blend (flaps alternate between coated and non-woven). Flaps conform to most workpieces, and as they wear, fresh abrasive is exposed. Non-woven flap wheels (also known as ScotchBrite) do not indicate grit, only grade and density.
