Q: What is my user ID?
A: If you have forgotten your user ID, you can request to have it emailed to you. Go to the Forgot your user ID? page. Provide the required information. We will send your user ID to the email address stored in the Personal Information section of Your Account.
Q: What is my password?
A: If you have forgotten your password, you can create a new password by resetting it on your own. For further assistance, call Customer Care toll-free 888-361-8649, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Q: What is "Remember my sign in information"?
A: "Remember my sign in information" is a convenient, online feature which remembers your user ID and password each time you return to Grainger.com. As an added security benefit, your sensitive account information is password-protected.
Q: Are my user ID and/or password case-sensitive?
A: Only your password is case-sensitive. It must be entered exactly the same way it was during registration.
Q: Why can't I sign in?
A: In order to sign in, you must first register on Grainger.com.
If you are registered, click the Sign In link which is located on every page of the site. Enter your user ID and password in the box entitled Sign in to your Grainger Account. Then click the Sign In button.
If you are registered but still cannot sign in, check your user ID and password carefully. They must be entered exactly the same way as they were during registration.
If you cannot remember your sign in information, go to Forgot your user ID? or Forgot your password? and provide the required information. We will email your user ID to the email address stored in Your Profile and a separate email with instructions on how to reset your user ID and/or password.
Q: Are you the first person to register your company's account online?
A: If so, other users on your account need to register with full or limited rights. It is important to determine if the other users will need to be approved by a Full Rights User first. At any point after registration, a Full Rights User may edit these setting in the Your Account section.
