The Prescription Safety Eyewear Program offers a cost-effective way to provide your employees with quality, prescription safety eyewear. AO Safety®, our Grainger Service Provider, can design a program to fit your specific needs and recommend a variety of options for program administration.

An RX Safety Eyewear Program includes onsite and offsite dispensing through AO Safety’s nationwide network of eye care professional offices.

Why wear prescription safety eyewear?
It’s the law. OSHA 29 CFR 1910.133. States: “Employees who wear prescription lenses while engaged in operations that involve eye hazards shall wear eye protection that incorporates the prescription in its design. Eye and face personal protective equipment shall be distinctly marked to ANSI Z87.1 standards.” It also state that dress eyewear is not safety eyewear.
