All job applications should be reviewed with your current manager prior to submitting your name.
Employees must meet the minimum service requirements in their current role to be eligible to apply for an internal opportunity. Unusual circumstances may make exceptions appropriate. Any exception requires the approval of the employee’s current manager. These service requirements are:
- Non-exempt – minimum 12 months
- Exempt – minimum 24 months
Interview and relocation expenses are typically not paid with internal job transfers. An exception would be made if the required skill sets cannot readily be found within the local vicinity of the open job. If the hiring manager decides to pay interview travel expenses, eligible expenses must be paid for all applicants who incur them.
