Dogging feature keeps door unlatched, allowing traffic to enter and exit freely.
Not fire rated. Fit 1 3/4"- and 2 1/4"-thick doors up to 7-ft. high, including hollow metal doors. Nonhanded. Include strike and mounting hardware. Heavy-Duty, 99 Series models have a hydraulic noise-dampening feature and a high-quality finish. Electronic Power Rim has an electric latchbolt that can be retracted remotely by a control station operator, keypad, or card reader. Continuous-duty solenoid for either momentary unlocking or for extended periods of time. Optional Electronic Conversion Kit for Von Duprin 99 Series can convert existing 3- and 4-ft. exit devices into an Electric Power Rim. Electric Power Transfer Wire is fully concealed and transfers power from the door frame to the edge of the door. Battery Power Rim has a 90 dB alarm that signals unauthorized exit attempts; reset with provided key. Includes 9V battery and warning sticker. Standard 1 1/4" mortise cylinder sold separately.
