Marshalltown trowels feature a high carbon spring steel, cross-ground blade that holds its shape and resists wear. The exclusive Diamond Shank (TM) fits perfectly into the square hole of the handle, preventing the handle from turning and loosening. The milled post also fits perfectly into the handle and withstands up to 300 lbs. of leaning pressure. Hardened, properly sized steel rivets (10 or more) attach the handle to the mounting for added strength. The large toe rivet is larger than toe rivets on competitors' models, and provides greater holding power.
