Riser Cable Type MPR/CMR cables have flame-retardant PVC jackets with sequential foot markings.

They are intended for installation in risers and general horizontal applications when installed in accordance with NEC article 800-51(b) (g). Plenum Cable Type MPP/CMP cables have Flexguard (TM) flame-retardant PVC jackets with a 0 DegreeC low temperature rating and sequential footage markings. For installation in ducts, plenums, and other spaces used as environmental air returns when installed in accordance with NEC Article 800-51(a) (g). Shielded Cable Resists interference from outside electromagnetic and radio frequencies. Includes polyester-backed aluminum overall shield and 24 AWG tinned copper drain wire. Spool-Pac(R) Cartons Cable is wound on spool mounted in carton to ensure tangle-free dispensing. Provides option of pulling cable directly from carton or removing spool for out-of-carton use.
