Magnetic Drive Pumps
Eliminate seal-caused friction loss, wear, contamination, and leakage.
Drive magnet is separated from impeller magnet, preventing fluids from contacting the motor drive shaft, and allowing the motor to drive the impeller without a mechanical shaft seal.
Gravity-feed design requires the pump inlet to be lower than liquid level. All units are nonsubmersible except No. 4RL36, which is submersible only. Mount pumps horizontally. Volute rotates in 90 Degree intervals, except Nos. 2P044, 4RL34, and 4RL35, which rotate at 60 Degree intervals.

MD-SC Series Pumps
For mild chemicals at moderate temperatures (32 Degree to 150 DegreeF) or pressures to 30 psi*.
Pumps handle mild acids, mild alkalis, and salt water. Polypropylene pump housing and impeller. Encapsulated ceramic magnet. Ceramic shaft and thrust bearings. Nitrile O-ring gasket. 316 stainless steel hardware. Open and open fan-cooled motors (except No. 4RL36 is epoxy encapsulated for submersible use only). Motors have 6-ft., 3-conductor SJP cords with 3-prong plugs.

(*) Pumps' capabilities to handle higher liquid temperatures are offset by the amount of system pressure: as liquid temperature increases, pressure-handling capabilities decrease. Conversely, higher system pressures result in less capability to handle higher temperatures. The table, below, shows maximums for each situation.
WARNING: Use only with nonflammable liquids compatible with pump component materials and in nonflammable/nonexplosive atmospheres.
