A solid steel groove pin from Grainger provides high shear strength and good wear resistance. Easy to install, a grooved pin requires no reaming or threading of the hole it's going into. The pin is held in position under elastic tension, so it can't be jiggled out in harsh environments. And when you take these pins out, the grooves recover their form, so groove pins can be reused many times with only minimal reduction in pull-out performance. Come to Grainger for a standard (Type A) groove pin, Type E pins, which are headless, and Type G groove pins, which have a head.
