Use a clevis pin as part of a clevis fastener to hitch farm and construction equipment for towing. When threaded through the prongs of a tang and secured with a cotter pin, this fastening system allows movement along one axis while restricting it along the other. Clevis pins are flanged at one end and have one or more holes at the other to receive a secondary fastener.
