It functions as designed. The quality of the finishes leaves a bit to be desired. Paint is flaking in a few small areas upon receipt of this item. The "base" is also a bit ""light"" or under-designed for the load that it is supposed to be capable of supporting. Fortunately, I don't intend to load it to its' limit.
