Smal raised buttons on the taps of the toggel would solve this problem. In order to make it work we removed the red rubber seal and activate the switch with a screw driver.I am not using for wet vac. We have a 2nd vac that also stopped working, after checking we found a wire had disconnected from the motor the wire is very difficult to reconnect due to the seald housing, so we cant use the unit.
