The pH accuracy for the HI 98128 is 0.05 not 0.1. I have had no problems with this meter, I use it for testing the pH of my wort (prefermented beer). I have pushed beyond its temp limits and it has not failed me. It has never leaked, it has set without the electrode storage solution for months and calibreted dead-on. I have stored it with the batteries in and have had no corrosion issues. Worked great for about 7 months. Battery corrosion was also a problem. NOTE: Had no problems with the same brand pH meter with pH accuracy of +-0.1 that looks identical.
