It was easy to assemble and hook up. Started right up and we were dreamy until the power was back on. We ran the pump, fridge, freezer and some lights but would have run more I expect. I initially was leary that they were out of my price range but after a little research I realized they weren't priced much different then any other brand. With that being said I was able to power refrigerator well pump lights and tv. All of which made life mich easier for everyone. The unit is small and very easy to use. Assembly was simple and operating the unit was a breeze..customer service is excellent and always able to answer any questions! With this unit we will stay warm by keeping the furnace on. No freezing pipes and darkness this time. During the summer I can keep the sump pump powered up too. Small town, we loss power almost every-time a severe weather event occurs. Went looking for a generator and they were real hard to find. Went into our local big box store and they had one leftb on a pallet from a shipment they just got in. I did'nt know if 3250w would give me all the power I needed for the whole house but I purchased it anyway so at least we could get the lights and furnace running.Got it home unpacked it and set up. I started it up and plugged it in to a prewired breaker box that I had installed earlier. To my surprise when I started to flip the breakers I got almost my whole house running. I was just looking to get lights and heat but this lil generator got not only lights and heat but almost all the electrical needs in my house, the electric stove,well,sump pump,etc. We are VERY pleased with the Generac 3250 and would definitely reccomend this to anyone who needs a backup electrical supply.
