We have a 20,000 sq ft facility (5k office, 15k warehouse). We looked into a 45-60kw standby generator but felt the cost was too high. We decided to try this unit with a manual transfer switch for our facility. One week after installation we lost power for 2 business days. This generator ran 2 HVAC office units, 6 modine gas heaters, 25 personal computers, 3 computer servers and related hardware, office telephone, fridge, half of the office and warehouse lights and more. If we could have hooked up the transfer switch to more of the breakers I think this unit would have powered almost the entire facility. It started and ran without skipping a beat. We spent a fraction of the price quoted for a built in standby unit. We would recommend this setup to any small business.</span> March 8, 2013<meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2013-03-08" /></div><div id='16061030' itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review"><meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="Portable Generator, Rated Watt17500, 992cc" /><span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating">Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span></span> by <span itemprop="author">Phil</span><span itemprop="name"> Great Product</span><span itemprop="description"> When The Power Went Out From Sandy I Ran 3 Refrigs, 2 Sump Pumps, The Boiler, 3 Tv's # Of Lights And Some From 7am to Midnight For Like 4 Days And Used About 10 To 12 Gallons A Day.Great Machine</span> March 6, 2013<meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2013-03-06" /></div><div id='15977865' itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review"><meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="Portable Generator, Rated Watt17500, 992cc" /><span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating">Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span></span> by <span itemprop="author">Curly376</span><span itemprop="name"> Excellent value for the money</span><span itemprop="description"> This new unit is replacing a 9 KW portable unit that ran my whole house except for the Hot Tub and central AC. Since we do not use gas (propane or LNG), we did not want to install a standby unit on a concrete pad and find a place to hide a couple large tanks. At about half the price including a transfer switch, this unit will power our entire house and we can still store it in the garage or bring it to a family members house in emergency. Keeping 15-20 gallons of extra fuel on hand if stations are out might be a challenge, but for the rare occasions that happens, we'll manage just fine.</span> February 21, 2013<meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2013-02-21" /></div><div id='15626240' itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review"><meta itemprop="itemReviewed" content="Portable Generator, Rated Watt17500, 992cc" /><span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating">Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">4</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span></span> by <span itemprop="author">LOUIE</span><span itemprop="name"> NOT USED YET</span><span itemprop="description"> GOT MY GENERATOR, HAD NOT BEEN FOR HAVING A CHAIN HOIST , DOUBT THAT I WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO PUT WHEELS AND FOOT ASSEMBLY ON.SOME PARTS WERE MISSING SUCH AS WASHERS, NOT A BIG THING, ONE SPACER FOR THE WHEELS HAD TOO BE GRIND DOWN TO FIT.
