Heat or AC, It delivers .We never liked Propane except for cooking , We got rid of the LP furnace, water heater and the LP fridge. and gained a bunch of room from the venting that was required for LP, now gone. We run A gen set when were out in the boonies ,or on the road for everything except cooking , and use Shore power at RV camp sites to furnish the power needs . August 28, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Thermo Sleeping comfortably this summer! I bought this product because our neighborhood covenants do not permit window unit a/c's. I needed to cut the plastic window housing to fit my window perfectly. The intake/exhaust tubes took me a while to snap into place. But....This is to be expected on my end as I'm horrible with set ups of any kind. Now, it's been a year later & it's a breeze to set it up for the summer months.I find that the P12B unit quiet & powerful. I also like the dual hoses for better efficiency. Most companies use one hose for intake/exhaust. The remote is excellent & works from a good distance away. Plus...The P12B looks nice as well! Some of my friends come over & they are amazed @ just how well the unit works. In fact, a friend of mine went out & purchased a P12B the next day after being in our home that warm muggy night. Friedrich will cost a little more then their competitors, but trust me, it's worth it.You will not find Friedrich product in large "Brick & Motor" stores. Did a dealer search here & found a location within 30 miles. Did you ever notice when you go inside many commercial stores, restaurants etc. that many use Friedrich air condtioners? That should tell you something right there! Are they the least expensive? No & there is a reason for that because it's cost Friedrich more to produce a better quality product. July 7, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Donna66 Fantastic product I survived Hurricane Andrew in Miami and wanted a portable a/c unit in the event we have to go on generators again for my home or office. I have owned this unit now 2 years and it has saved my family many times when someone's main ac unit broke and this unit kept the entire house reasonably cool. My daughter borrowed it and I had to fight her to get it returned. Cools down a room quickly and sounds like a fan.Right now I use it as an additional unit in the main area of the house when it is very hot. It has been very reliable and two years later sounds like it did when I took it out of the box. June 5, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by Andrea0326 Practical but Noisy Pluses: Clean Design. In my small room I need to use sound reducing earphones to watch TV when it is on. The extra hose means that air to cool the unit's heat transfer comes from outside along with the warmed air being expelled. The closeness of these two openings at the window leads me to wonder if there is crossover -that the heated exhaust air is mingled with the input air. Easy to roll from one room to another. We have central cooling in my building, but as I face southwest my apt. heats up way before the central air system is turned on. Can you quieten the machine? May 10, 2012

1-7 of 7
