Have the continuous hose hooked up and seems to be working fine. It's pretty quiet and is one of the better looking dehumidifiers i have seen. Pretty sturdy.Fan only runs until set humidity is reached and then it turns off. We use the continuous-drain feature which automatically removes water using a hose connected to our basement floor drain. Going on vacation is now so much easier! After a power outage the dehumidifier turns itself back on and remembers the settings we had. Friedrich seems to be a great value and high quality. Do not waste your money.</span><span itemprop="description"> It ran for 30 minutes and said the bucket was full. I wasn't using the bucket. I was using the pump to a sump pit. I called and they said the sensor was malfunctioning. Now I have to take it for warranty work and I've only had30 minutes of use. Stay tuned for the follow up.
