Average</span><span itemprop="description"> Well, it gets the job done. I have it installed about 3 feet of pipe away from the sink it is used in, and it takes a good 10-15 seconds for the water to reach a steamy temperature, but it does get there, and a lot faster than it used to take. (Before, it would take about 5 minutes for hot water to get to the sink.)Installation is easy with compression style inlet and outlet fittings, just be warned, this little guy draws down lots of amperage.There is a temp control INSIDE of the cover that you can use to limit the temperature, but if you need to increase the temp, you will need to install a restriction valve downstream of the heater so it can get the water up in temp.
