The float switch would not work properly, if at all. Pump was replaced under warranty, 08/29/11, same model. This one ran a few times, then I had the same problem as the previous reviewer. The float switch should activate the pump at 10.34&quot; of head. However, the switch does not activate until approximately 14&quot; of head. By this time water is flowing out of the top of the sump well. Since then, I found the pressure float switch needs over 14 inches of water to run. Further, parts are not available to repair this pump. I have one that needs a new seal and cannot get it. I asked Grainger if it was continuous run, and they told me no, yet in the description it states that it is continuous run.
