I own a small carburetor shop and was constantly breaking/dulling bits. I found that I really liked the cobalt type bits for their strength and sharpness when drilling through various metals. I went to my local Fastenal and asked for the best cobalt set they had to offer and I received: CHICAGO-LATROBE Jobber Drill Set, Cobalt, 29 PC .Appearance: Nice looking case, good looking bits.1st use: cut true and sharp through 1&quot; piece of aluminum (3/8&quot; bit)1st issue, the bits are not keyed at the chuck end so they tend to slip if you bite down on something you are drilling through.Case fault: after using bits (1st time use) they will not fit back into their slot in the case they came in. Once you have ANY defect on the bit they just don't fit anymore.
