Use for joining similar or dissimilar metals in a wide range of applications. Feature low melting points and high tensile strength. Kit No. 1UYG5 includes lead-free solder, water soluble flux, flux brush, and sand cloth. Kit No. 3THF6 includes 1 oz. solder and 1 oz. flux. Rosin core solders can be used for speaker wire, motors, appliances, and general wiring. Acid core solder is for tin repairs, sheet metal, auto radiators, and metal gutters. Pocket solders come in small tube dispensers for convenience.
No. 1UYD8 meets Type ROM 1 flux per IPC J-STD-004; and No. 5JC08 meets Type RA flux per Fed. Spec. QQ-S-571E Wrap II.
