They keep me dry. There is enough room with these to go over the insulated bibs when it gets cold offshore.The only request I have is that they put some pockets on the outside. They don't even have to be waterproof pockets. They keep me dry all day in the rain. They are a little big but do not restrict movement. They do not breath and are a bit warm in the summer. However they are very durable.
